Hey fierce people- If you knew how much I hate posting this link basically begging for $ you’d be wondering WTF I’m doing it for. That’s simple. While everyone becomes further and deeper entrenched within social media, the printed tome, be it literary or visual is slowly becoming extinct. I’m trying to put out a magazine, really a book, that you can hold in your hands, turn the pages and treasure for years to come. VACZINE is in the design stage and set to launch on May 1st. In order to keep VACZINE free of censorship or corporate control I’m launching an indiegogo campaign to help offset our printing costs. I would be most grateful if you could re-post this link and help me spread the word. I haven’t published a magazine since CSNA in 2003 and that one got me sued by Louis Vuitton. Just think of the possibilities VACZINE could start up;) We’re still far from our goal but someone very correct paid $500 for the special hardcover deluxe edition #1 / of 10. Since the actual selling cost is $250, I’d say it’s the first good sign that VACZINE has a future. If you would like to pre-order one of the remaining deluxe editions you can contact me on Fbook or at vaczineartjournal@gmail.com. If you would care to contribute towards our fundraising campaign click the link below for more info. There are several cool perks available as well as the smug satisfaction of helping to keep indie publishing alive. Please help me make this dream into a reality & thank you for keeping it correct XXWChttp://www.indiegogo.com/projects/vaczine-magazine/x/621635

repeat after me:
1. our immigrant families are not just ‘homophobic’ they are also ‘colonized.’
2. our parents have histories, genders, and sexualities, too.
3. they are just as broken as we are (but we have the words — i mean the english — to say it)
4. the diaspora responds to racism with heteronormativity
5. trauma seeps through generations

Thanku!
